CardY ("CardY", "we", "us", or "our") is a mobile app for managing a personal card portfolio. This Privacy Policy describes how CardY handles information when you use the app.

1. Information We Collect

CardY is designed to work without user registration. We do not ask you to create an account.

The app may handle the following information:

• Card portfolio data: cards you add to your wallet, card order, and local card preferences.
• Card catalog data: issuer, card face, benefit, promotion, fee, and eligibility information loaded from our backend service.
• Technical data from network requests: when the app connects to our backend, standard server logs may include information such as IP address, request time, request path, user agent, and basic diagnostic information.

2. Information Stored on Your Device

Your saved card portfolio is stored locally on your device using app storage. This lets CardY remember your added cards and card order between app launches.

You can remove cards from the app at any time. You can also remove locally stored app data by deleting the app from your device.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

CardY does not intentionally collect:

• Payment card numbers, CVV codes, or banking passwords.
• Precise location data.
• Contacts, photos, camera, or microphone data.
• Advertising identifiers for cross-app tracking.
• Health, biometric, or government identification data.

4. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Display your card portfolio in the app.
• Save cards you add, delete, or reorder.
• Load card catalog information.
• Maintain, debug, secure, and improve the app and backend service.

5. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may process technical information through service providers that help us host, operate, monitor, or secure the app and backend service.

We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of CardY, our users, or others.

6. Data Retention

Card portfolio data stored locally remains on your device until you delete cards in the app, clear app data, or uninstall the app. Backend server logs, if any, are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for operations, security, debugging, and legal compliance.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children’s Privacy

CardY is not directed to children under 13 years old, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

9. International Transfers

Our backend service and service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such processing.

10. Your Choices

• You can delete individual cards from CardY’s edit card list.
• You can reorder cards at any time in the app.
• You can uninstall the app to remove locally stored app data from your device.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and provide notice where appropriate.
